    Client Crashed: SINS 2.0.4.2

    I experienced and actually saw in my own eyes when the client crashed.

    This actually happened when the farmer character died (I intentionally let it die) and respawned to town. Then, as it was about to auto-mount, it crashed before it was able to successfully ride its mount.

    To be more specific how I let it die. I disabled auto-remedy and auto-skill, then removed all his armors so that when it pass-by aggro mobs, it'll die. And it will do it over and over until it lose all EXP. I had to do this because w/ armors equiped, mobs will only make 1 damage. This method saves me time compared to manually "suiciding" my toon and particularly useful when i'm just remotely connected to the PC where the game is running.

    I hope you may simulate this. If not, and if it's only happening to me, it could probably be due to my own lack of RAM frustrated

    Thanks for the detailed report. I think that I know what the problem is; your game client must have been running for a long time; so it took much longer to swap in/out memory from pagefile when you change area by teleporting.

    I've added WaitInputIdle check in the next update to make sure the game is ready to receive input before attempting to interfere with the loading process.

    You're right, it was in fact running for almost 3 days non-stop until I had to intervene to level it down.

    Okay, I'll see in the next update and re-open this thread should I encounter the same problem.

    So far so good (after 24 hours of botting), client not crashing due to problem as explained in my 1st post after applying the update.

    Mine crashed today, SINS updated. Been having crashes for a while now even before update.

    I'm running Windows 7 and i have 3 clients on and it is normally this one char that always crashes so im guessing it could be one of the triggers that i use for the char.

    u have low ram :P.

    I always get error ram but never crashed.

    Improper settings and triggers cannot cause crash or memory errors.

    Those are either caused by bugs or your RAM is too low and you are running too many clients.

    Your report does not have enough details to help me to determine whether it's a bug or not; so I can only assume that you are running too many clients when your system cannot support.

    I'm running Windows 7 (64-bit) Intel Duo Core 2.66GHz with 2.00GB installed RAM and only normally run 3 clients and the same char client always crash.

    Since my post wasn't answered probably because this one was up, I ask again. Why my toon can't return to the grind spot after like 1 or 2 hours. It stays near physician with the dialog/quest menu open and never close and I get that memory error after several tries to route back to grind spot. This happen with only one client, opened for a couple of hours.
    I have 4gb of ram.

    did you check if your running 32 bit resolution?
